AN AMAZING STAINED GLASS WINDOW
This beautifull old window is still in its original frame. It was removed
from a house in Knaresborough during refurbishement. THIS IS A REMARKABLY
BEAUTIFUL WINDOW WITH EXCEPTIONAL COLOURS. The coloured glass is of a heavy
and deep texture and has no crack or chips
The glass and the leads are in sound condition. The frame measures 21"W
x 22 "H The glass measures 18 " x 19"
This design is very
typical of art deco form and dates from from around 1928. The ruling monarch
in England during most of the art deco period was George V

It is characterised by its clean simple lines often using geometric shapes and designs. Stained glass windows of this period are often incorrectly described as antique. These windows however can often atract high prices and are a very poular addition to period homes.
